In the book Craft of Research by Wayne C. Booth, Gregory Colomb, and Joseph Williams, the authors reviewed essential techniques and methods for approaching research. The book was very well organized and helped me organize and understand the research method and plan. I now understand the importance of the things I often overlook while researching, like a strong question and thesis. These are the foundation of your research, not simple and easy starters. After reading, I was confident in creating a research plan of my own and will often reread sections of this book throughout my research. Another thing I appreciated about the book was its ability to put the magnitude of research into perspective. When I do large research projects, I often get burnt out, but with my research plan, I hope to have spread it out enough to avoid burnout.
